Security forces arrested Tuesday a Muslim Brotherhood terrorist cell in Alexandria, over accusations of carrying out terrorist attacks against military and police personnel. Investigations revealed that the group carried out 37 terrorist attacks including bombings, terrorizing civilians, assaulting police and military personnel, setting fire to police and army vehicles and disabling power stations and public utilities in order to spread panic among civilians and detriment the national economy to force their demands on the state. The suspects confessed to illegal possession of weapons, explosive devices and Molotov cocktails used in attacking police facilities and security personnel.
