Assistant to the Minister of Interior, Khaled Youssef inspected Friday security status and services east of Cairo, at Heliopolis, Nasr City, and Al-Nozha areas. Youssef made sure that all security services are functioning well and understand how to handle any security threat. He assured more deployment of members of the secret police to control the surroundings and detect anything that might disturb the public security or troublemakers. Also, he examined police vehicles' equipment and policemen's weaponry, in addition to ammunition and their readiness for all tasks, stressing the need to maintain integrity and to take cautious in dealing with both, citizens and criminals. He pointed out to the importance of taking precaution in combating extremists by wearing protective bulletproof vests.
