A leader of Al Qassam Brigades, the military wing of Hamas Movement, was killed Friday during intensive air strikes on Wilayet Sinai (Sinai province) hideouts in Sheikh Zuweid, North Sinai, according to Sky News Arabiya. Abdel-Elah Mohamed Saeed Qeshta, has been monitored by the Egyptian intelligence agencies during his meetings with Wilayet Sinai's militants in Rafah and Sheikh Zuweid, according to security sources. Twenty Five year-old Qeshta, a resident of the Palestinian Rafah city south of Gaza is considered the main leader of the terrorist attacks against the Egyptian army in Sinai. Qeshta was killed among other jihadist militants and his body was secretly transferred through tunnels to Gaza where he was buried. Hamas movement claimed earlier that Qeshta was killed during clashes between the Islamic State's militants and the Libyan army in Darnah, the IS, however, denied the claims. One of Qeshta's relatives, who preferred to remain anonymous, told Sky News Arabiya that Qeshta left Gaza through a secret tunnel on the Egyptian-Palestinian border in September among other Palestinian fighters.
