Salafist Call: "what IS does is not Islamic"
Published in Albawaba on 04 - 02 - 2015

Al Azhar University's Professor of jurisprudence (Fikh), Sheikh Ahmed Crema said Wednesday what The Islamic State group (IS) did to Jordanian pilot Moaz Al Kasasba confirms that that criminal organization does not relate to the Islamic religion. The fundamentals and basics of Islam honor mankind despite of color, race or nationality. The Holy Quran states that God has honored mankind and favored it among all creatures.
Crema told Al Bawaba that IS's method is not jihad (Holy fight), as Islam has provided kind merciful means and forbidden oppression at war. Prophetic war statutes have always been compassionate. Prophet Mohammed has said "do not practice treason, do not kill a child, an elderly person, or an isolated monk. You should not hurdle a beast of burden, or damage a tree, do good to captives."
Crema added that Prophet Mohamed -PBUH- forbade mutilating captive bodies, neither alive nor dead, stressing that burning the bodies is forbidden because no one should punish by fire except God.
Creama explained that Islam does not permit the use of weapons of mass destruction or poisoned arrows, as it's not merciful. It encourages unconditioned freeing of captives, or for ransom.
He confirmed that the so called IS and its fatwas are all deceptive as it attempts to justify its brutal acts by involving religious scriptures. All this is but a slur against Islam.
Spokesperson of the Salafist call (Al Daawa Al Salafiya), Sheikh Aly Hatem condemned the terrorist IS act of burning the Jordanian pilot alive.
Hatem told Al Bawaba that IS militants are not of Islam, adding that Prophet Mohamed -PBUH- has warned of them, saying that there will not be a single century without those who find that shedding Muslim blood is permissible.
he criticized these groups, which he described as infidels, who torture Muslims saying, that Al Kasassbeh is not any different from any Egyptian soldier or policeman, stressing that the blood of all Muslims is forbidden.
Salafi advocator, Sheikh Mohamed Al Abasiry said what the terrorist group has done, and their use of fire unveils the deplorable, meanness, decadence and rascaldom stage they have reached.
Al Abasiry explained that the use of fire in this manner has been prohibited by God, and restricted to be used only by Him.
He confirmed that IS use of the Holy Quran and Hadith to justify their criminal acts does not only reveal their ignorance to both, but also that they are but tools among others in the hands of enemies of Islam, who manage to manipulate as they wish, to mutilate the original Islam, its followers, and abuse it in order to demolish it from within.
