Qatari intelligence head met his counterpart Tuesday in Cairo to prepare for the meeting between Egyptian President Al-Sisi and Emir of Qatar in Riyadh next month. The two intelligence heads met in Cairo to agree the main points of leaders meeting in Riyadh, sponsored by Saudi King Abdullah Bin Abdul Aziz, Reuters reported on Wednesday. Sisi had already met Saturday Qatari special envoy Sheikh Mohamed bin Abdulrahman al-Thani to activate the last step of the Saudi brokered reconciliation. The meeting was followed with a decision by Qatari-owned Al Jazeera Mubasher Misr to stop airing from Cairo until further notice. Relations between Egypt and Qatar have deteriorated since July 2013, after the ouster of former president Mohamed Morsi.
