Faiyum city hosts World Music Festival

World music festival, first session starts Wednesday in Faiyum and until December 21, with international participation showcasing various forms of world music.
The festival hosts folkloric bands from Egypt, India, Kazakhstan, South Sudan, Bangladesh and Spain.
During December Faiyum city will be Egypt's capital for cultural exchange, according to statements of Hazem Attiatullah, Governor of Faiyum.
Part of the cultural exchange agenda the city hosts, poetry recital evenings and an international pottery and ceramics festival with participation of 10 countries.
