President Abdel Fattah Al-Sisi stressed today on the important role of businessmen and private sector companies in boosting trade and investment relations between Egypt and France during his visit to Paris. Sisi also pointed out to efforts to overcome the obstacles facing companies in both countries, during his meeting with French-Egyptian Business Council. On another hand, Egypt's President said that the state is committed to its obligations of payments to foreign companies operating in Egypt in the petroleum sector. The President invited the business community in France to participate in the international economic conference, which will be held in Egypt in March 2015, in order to review reform measures and progress concerning investment. Sisi also talked about Suez Canal axis development project expressing Egypt's aspirations for contribution from the French side, stressing on the importance of boosting economic relations between both countries.
