Sufra Dayma: Chicken Salad By Moushira Abdel-Malek Servers 4-6 Ingredients: 2 cups roasted chicken (chopped, skin removed) ½ cup celery heads (diced) 1/3 cup coarsely grated carrot 1/3 cup finely diced onion ½ cup mayonnaise 2 tbsp yellow mustard 2 tbsp yoghurt 1 tsp garlic powder 1 tsp salt Pepper + sweet paprika (pinch of each) Method: Combine all ingredients in a bowl. Mix until well combined. Preferably to mix dry ingredients, then moist ingredients; each in separate bowls, then combine both in a serving bowl. Serve as a salad, or in sandwiches of toasted halves of buns, topped with lettuce and a slice of tomato.
