Sufra Dayma: Avocado salad By Moushira Abdel-Malek Ingredients: 3 ripe avocados 1 small onion (finely grated) 1/2 tsp lemon rind (grated) 1 tbsp lemon juice 1/2 cup plain yoghurt 1 tbsp mayonnaise 1 tbsp Dijon mustard Salt + pepper Method: Wash the avocados and towel dry them. Cut each in equal halves. Remove pit and scoop flesh gently, leaving outer skin intact. Blend in an electric blender over low grade. Remove into a bowl. Add remaining ingredients and mix well, by means of a fork or an egg beater. Place empty avocado halves in a serving plate. Scoop mixture to fill each half. Serve plain with crisp bread, or top with boiled shrimps, or boiled eggs, halved, or top with black caviar..
