Mon 4, 6pm: The Nadia Younes memorial lecture, “Nadia Younes: A Shinning Star in the World of International Civil Servants,” is dedicated to Nadia Younes who was killed in 2003 while serving as the chief of staff for the special representative of the UN secretary-general in Iraq. Nabil Al-Araby, secretary-general of the League of Arab States, will deliver the lecture. Al-Araby served as Egypt's minister of foreign affairs from March to June 2011 in Egypt's post-revolution cabinet and was the Egyptian ambassador to India from 1981 to 1983.
