AUC discusses Marxist Movement in Egypt

A panelwill discuss in Arabic, Gennaro Gervasio's new book, “The Marxist Movement in Egypt (1967-1981). Gervasio is a senior lecturer in politics and international relations at the Faculty of Arts at Macquarie University in Sydney, Australia.
The discussion is organised by the history and political science departments at the American University in Cairo (AUC)and the National Centre for Translation.
The panel will include Ahmed Bahaa Al Din Shabaan, political writer; Sameh Naguib, of AUC's Middle East studies centre; and Samer Soliman, of the department of political science.
The event is open to the public and will take place Monday, 13th December, at 5:30 pm at theHE Suzanne Mubarak Conference Hall, AUC New Cairo.
