After extending the contract of first-choice goalkeeper Sherif Ekramy, Ahly have extended the stay of their reserve goalkeeper Ahmed Adel Abdel-Moneim for three seasons without disclosing the financial details, the club announced on Monday. "Adel agreed to extend his stay with the team for another three seasons without any financial offers," read a statement on the club's official website. The 26-year-old shoot stopper Adel, made his debut in Ahly's first football team squad in the 2007-08 season when veteran goalkeeper Essam El-Hadary departed from the team to join Swiss side Sion. The Ahly goalkeeper's contract was to expire at the end of the ongoing season while the Cairo giant management decided to keep him in their squad for another spell to be a reserve player for first-choice Ekramy, who also extended his stay with the team for two-and-a-half seasons.
