Ahly announce final squad for Club World Cup
Ahly are to compete in the FIFA Club World Cup in Morocco with their full squad
Published in Ahram Online on 28 - 11 - 2013

Ahly's coach Mohamed Youssef has named the 23-man squad for the FIFA Club World Cup which will start on 11 December in Morocco.
The Cairo giants will represent Africa in the world competition for the fifth time after winning the African trophy earlier this month at the expense of the Orlando Pirates of South Africa.
Youssef will do it with his full squad as all players who played in the African campaign have been named on the list.
Striker Ahmed Abdel-Zaher will miss the tournament as he was suspended and put on the team's transfer list for making a four-fingered hand signal in support of deposed Islamist president Mohamed Morsi during the African final.
Ahy's new signing, winger Sabri Rahil, will travel with the team to Morocco but he will not be able to participate with the team as he is not registered in the team's squad for the tournament.
The Red Devils will start their campaign in Morocco on 14 December when they face the Asian Champions Guangzhou Evergrande of China in the quarter-finals.
The winner of this clash will face European champions Bayern Munich in the semis on 17 December.
