Ahly name squad for Champions League semifinal
No Meteb or Gamal for Coton Sport clash; Soliman, Fathi and Abdel-Fadil to boost Ahly backline

Ahly coach Mohamed Youssef will do without injured strikers Emad Meteb and Amr Gamal in the first leg of the CAF Champions League semifinal against Coton Sport on Saturday.
The Cairo-based club are heading to Cameroon on Wednesday evening as part of their bid for an eighth trophy in the most prestigious African club tournament. The second leg is scheduled for 20 October in Egypt.
Defender Sherif Abdel-Fadil has been called up as he is recovering from calf strain he sustained during the El-Dakhleya friendly on Monday. Walid Soliman and Ahmed Fathi have also been called up.
The Red Devils made it to the semifinal after finishing top of Group A ahead of Orlando Pirates of South Africa, rivals Zamalek and Congo's AC Leopards.
The 22-man squad:
Goalkeepers: Sherif Ekrami, Mahmoud Abou El-Soud and Ahmed Adel Abdel-Menem
Defender: Sherif Abdel-Fadil, Mohamed Nagiub, Wael Gomaa, Saad Samir, Rami Rabia, Ahmed Fathi, Ahmed Nabil 'Manga', Sayed Mowad and Ahmed Shedid
Midfielders: Hossam Ashor, Shehab Ahmed, Mahmoud Hassan 'Trezeguet', Mohamed Abou Treika, Walid Soliman, Abbullah El-Said and Ahmed Shokry
