12 injured in Egypt clashes on Mohamed Mahmoud anniversary Scuffles between pro- and anti-military protesters in Cairo; pro-Brotherhood students clash with police in Mansoura and Alexandria
Twelve people have been injured during protests across Egypt on the second anniversary of the Mohamed Mahmoud clashes. Three have been injured in Cairo's Tahrir Square, one in Alexandria and eight at the Al-Azhar University campus in Mansoura, Egyptian Ambulance Authority head Dr Ahmed El-Ansary said on Tuesday afternoon. The injuries are mostly bruises and suffocation, El-Ansary added. In Cairo, clashes between pro- and anti-military protesters have flared intermittently around Tahrir Square since Tuesday morning.
