Zamalek's coach hopes the Egyptian Premier League will be held this season after it was cancelled for two successive years

Zamalek's coach Helmi Toulan said on Friday the team would get "bored" if the Egyptian Premier League does not kick off later this month.
Recent reports suggested the new Premier League season could begin on 30 November but Egyptian football officials have so far remained tight-lipped over that possibility.
Two successive league competitions were called off following the 2012 Port Said disaster and the army's ouster of President Mohamed Morsi after mass protests against his rule on 3 July.
"A delay of the league's start causes boredom among the players and technical staff members, that's why the Egyptian Football Association should quickly hold the competition."
Toulan took over from Brazilian Jorvan Vieira last summer, shortly after the league was called off just before a final playoff featuring Zamalek, arch-rivals Ahly, Ismaily and ENPPI.
The 63-year-old helped Zamalek end a five-year title drought by winning the Egypt Cup after beating unfancied Wadi Degla in the final.
The White Knights have not won the league since 2004, after which cross-town rivals Ahly won seven successive titles.
"We are training normally to be ready if they decide to hold the league anytime," Toulan added.
