Ahead of World Cup Ghana playoff, Hull City winger has been dropped from national squad for first time since 2007

Winger Ahmed Elmohamady says Egypt coach Bob Bradley should explain the decision to drop him from the national squad, which will face Ghana in the return leg of the World Cup qualifier playoffs on 19 November.
"I can't understand why I have been dropped. Everybody performed badly in the away leg, even Bradley himself," Elmo told an Egyptian TV show on Tuesday.
On Sunday night, Bradley announced the 25-man player list for the Ghana clash. Elmohamady was a surprise omission from the lineup.
The 26-year old, a regular starter for Hull City in the Premier League, has been featured consistently by the Pharaohs since 2007. He helped lead the team to two African Nations Cup titles in 2008 and 2010.
Elmo denied circulating rumors that an altercation with inspirational midfielder Mohamed Abou-Treika might have sparked his exclusion.
"Everybody was talking about a dispute with Abou-Treika, but that never happened. We all left the pitch in silence after the game.
"I play regularly with Hull City in the strongest league in the world. It is the first time I have been dropped since 2007, and I am waiting for an explanation from the head coach," he concluded.
