Egyptian club Zamalek officially signed on Tuesday Gouna striker Arafa El-Sayed on a three-year deal to begin with the new football season, the Whites said in a statement on their official website. Local reports claim that Zamalek reached an agreement with the coastal club, Gouna, to pay 800,000 for signing the player who scored three goals with his club in last season's domestic league. Under the guidance of Head Coach Helmy Toulan, the Cairo giants are eager to strengthen their frontline ahead of the new season, especially after their recent failure at the African Champions League. Earlier on Monday, Zamalek acquired the services of Egypt U-20 defender Yasser Ibrahim from Mansoura on a five-year contract.
