Zamalek's Shikabala returns to Egypt squad ahead of World Cup qualifier
The Zamalek forward is named in Egypt's provisional squad for the 10 September World Cup qualifier against Guinea
Published in Ahram Online on 01 - 09 - 2013

Zamalek forward Mahmoud Abdel-Razek 'Shikabala' was recalled by Egypt coach Bob Bradley for the team's upcoming World Cup qualifier at home to Guinea on 10 September.
It was the first call-up for the 27-year-old since he terminated his contract with Emirati Club Al-Wasl last January.
The talented forward was unable to return to Zamalek until the summer. He is now featuring regularly with the club in their African Champions League campaign.
Zamalek's trio Omar Gaber, Ahmed Eid and Mohamed Abdel-Shafy were also named in the squad.
Egypt's game at home to Guinea is largely meaningless after the seven-time African Champions had ensured they would finish on top of Group G with one game to spare after becoming the only African team to collect maximum 15 points from five matches.
They are anxiously waiting for the 16 September draw to learn who they would face in the final two-legged playoff as they seek to reach the World Cup for the first time since 1990.
The Guinea match will be played at the 80,000-seat Borg El-Arab Stadium in Alexandria, albeit behind closed doors due to lingering security concerns.
