Manchester United midfielder Michael Carrick has pulled out of England's squad to play Scotland in an international friendly at Wembley Stadium on Wednesday due to an eye infection.
The 32-year-old, capped 29 times, has returned to his club, the Football Association said on its website (www.thefa.com).
