Zamalek midfielder Ibrahim denies signing for Malaga Whites midfield star says he respects Zamalek's decision concerning Spanish club offer, remains focused on team win in African Champions League
Zamalek's attacking midfielder Mohamed Ibrahim has not yet signed for Spanish clubMalaga FC,insisting that he remains committed to the Cairo giants. Recent reports claimed that the Spanish giants had reached an agreement with the Whites management to sign the promising player for one season on loan. "I haven't signed for Malaga yet. I will respect Zamalek's decision whether they accept the offer or not," Ibrahim was quoted as saying by Ahram Sport on Monday. "Now my only focus is on the team and our campaign to win the African Champions league title," he added. Ibrahim proved his worth with a series of impressive displays this season, playing a key role in helping Zamalek make their best-ever Egyptian Premier League start. The 21-year-old has scored five league goals and created several others for his teammates. He has become a regular member of Egypt's senior team squad under American coach Bob Bradley. Zamalek might be tempted to offload Ibrahim in a bid to solve their financial woes that interrupted the club this year. Malaga ended the Spanish league's season in 6th place with 57 points, 43 points behind winners Barcelona.
