Art Alert: High on Body Fat, acoustic show at Photopia
The satirical band High on Body Fat will perform at Photopia this Thursday

High on Body Fat, a comedy duo made up of Marwan Imam and Ahmed Safi El-Din, well known for inducing roars of laughter with witty their lyrics played to popular tunes, will perform an acoustic show at Photopia, a new space for photography and art launched last June.
Photopia aims to be a hub for photographers in Heliopolis, offering a space to nurture the growing interest in photography. Located at the heart of the classic district of Korba, Photopia hosts a variety of cultural events including exhibitions and concerts as well as organising photography and film editing courses.
High on Body Fat have performed on stages across Cairo, including Bikya, El-Genaina and the Cairo Jazz Club. They are part of a niche group of comedy bands, such as Like Jelly and Ze Khodz, which draw in audiences with good music and amusing lyrics.
