Vieria leads Zamalek's training after UAE vacation
Zamalek coach Jorvan Vieira returned to trainings Sunday after finishing his vacation in the United Arab Emirates

Zamalek's Brazilian tactician Jorvan Vieira arrived to the team's headquarters Sunday morning to lead the club's first training after spending a two-week vacation in Abu Dhabi with his family.
"Viera divided the players into two teams during Sunday's trainings within preparations for the African Champions League," read a statement on the Whites' website.
"Egypt international players were handed a rest from today's training after their participation with the national team in the Qatar friendly," the statement added.
Zamalek coach Vieira was due to hand in his resignation after growing increasingly frustrated with the ongoing stoppage in Egyptian football, a United Arab Emirates newspaper claimed.
“I will not stay at Zamalek. I'm leaving. I will return to Cairo on Saturday to put the finishing touches on my resignation,” the Brazilian tactician told EmirateAlyoum newspaper.
“There is no (Egyptian) league and I'm a professional coach who doesn't work just to earn money. They keep saying the league will start but nothing happens ... There is a problem between the Egyptian Football Association (EFA) and the Interior Ministry, which does not want to secure the games.”
EFA announced Saturday that it will launch the new Premier League season 1 February after a Saturday meeting between Egypt's sports and interior ministers.
Meanwhile, Cairo giants Zamalek will face Gazelle of Chad in February in theirfirst competitive match since their defeat in the quarterfinal of this year's CAF Champions League, which was won by Ahly.
