Al-Fata min Rojas Mat Qabl Ann Ya'refany (The Boy From Rojas Died Before He Got To Know Me),by Mazin Mustafa, Cairo: Kafka, 2012. 136pp. A new book by Sudan's Mazin Mustafais a long serious of fragments and dialogues with Argentinean writer Ernest Sabato, who died last year. The author discusses the philosophical and aesthetic issues raised by Sabato in his works, such as hermeneutics. He also examines the author's death. The writer mixes narrative, philosophical and autobiographical themes into his conversations with Sabato. He also addresses the literary experiences of Jean Genet, Borges, and Kafka. Mazin Mustafa, 31, a Sudanese writer living in Egypt, has one published work titledThe Phoenix of Embellished Praise,which was released by Sharkiat Publishing House in Cairo. His is studying for a masters degree in philosophy.
