Egypt defender Ahmed Hegazy scored his maiden Fiorentina goal after making his first start for the team in Wednesday's 2-0 win over second division Juve Stabia in the Italian Cup fourth round.
The 21-year-old doubled his side's advantage in the 72nd minute with an easy tap-in at the far post after Romulo's initial shot was parried by keeper Andrea Seculin.
Hegazy joined Fiorentina last summer from Egyptian coastal club Ismaily but had to wait until November to make his debut.
He was introduced as a second-half substitute in Fiorentina's 4-1 victory over Atalanta in the Serie A earlier this month.
Fiorentina will now face Udinese in the Italian Cup fifth round.
