Real Madrid optimistic over Super Cup chances despite Barcelona loss
Real Madrid players pile pressure on themselves ahead of the coming Spanish Super Cup home game against Barcelona, following Los Merengues' 3-2 loss in the first leg at Camp Nou

Real Madrid players believe their hope to secure the Spanish Super Cup is still alive despite the defeat by Barcelona in the first leg on Thursday.
Los Merengues lost 3-2 to the Catalans at Camp Nou while the second leg will take place at Santiago Bernabeu Wednesday. Until then, Sergio Ramos says, the title is still within Real's grasp.
"We've done a good job and the title is still undecided. Now we need to switch off, rest, think about the Liga and prepare as well as possible to win the match against Getafe," Ramos was quoted as saying by Real Madrid's official website on Friday.
"I'm optimistic, there's still the second leg to go and you have to be cool-headed. We arrived here very motivated and we didn't want to lose. Perhaps their first goal conditioned the match to some degree," the defender added.
Pedro, Lionel Messi and Xavi scored for holders Barcelona, who came from two goals down to emerge winners.
"It isn't a good score for us, but we're not concerned. We'll be playing as the home side with our supporters and we'll try to do as well as possible," Real Argentinian forward Angel di Maria said.
It was Real's Di Maria who opened the scoring before Cristiano Ronaldo doubled Real's lead, which was eventually cancelled out.
Brazilian left-back Marcelo trusts that the Real Madrid supporters will help them stage a comeback in the second leg of the Super Cup.
“We ran the whole time and gave it our all on the pitch. We're counting on our fans' support to win the title in the Santiago Bernabeu.” Marcelo told reporters after the game.
