The Egyptian Football Association (EFA) have received approval from FIFA for Amer Hussein to succeed Anwar Saleh as the EFA executive committee manager. Hussein and his committee will take charge until new elections are held on 30 September. “The Committee will keep cooperating with the interior ministry in order to resume domestic Egyptian football,” EFA spokesman Azmy Megahed told Ahram Sports. The former EFA elected board resigned after 1 February disaster when 74 fans were killed in Port Said stadium following a game between Ahly and Masry.
