Egypt's Tamer Bayoumi has reached the quarterfinal after beating Kazakhstan's Nursultan Mamayev 1-0 in the men's -58kg preliminary round of the Taekwondo event on Wednesday.
Bayoumi will play against Daehoon Lee from Republic of Korea later today.
