Zamalek's Shikabala to miss Kenya trip Zamalek forward Shikabala has been excluded from the upcoming CAF Champions League game for disciplinary reasons.
Mahmoud Abdel-Razek ‘Shikabala' will miss Zamalek's CAF Champions League kick-off against Kenyan side Ulinzi Stars next Saturday, after skipping the team's training sessions. “We decided to drop Shikabala from this trip as he hasn't been training with us over the past two days,” Zamalek football director Ibrahim Hassan told Egyptian media on Monday. The 24-year old player hasn't attended training since the team's goalless draw against El-Entag El-Harby last Friday. He reportedly had a bust-up with Hossam Hassan and Ibrahim Hassan in the dressing room after the game. “Only players who exert effort in training sessions will play. If he maintains this attitude he will also be on the sidelines in upcoming games,” Hassan added. Zamalek will play their first continental game in three years, having last played against Sudanese side Al-Hilal in round 16 of the African CAF Champions League in 2008.
