We didn't expect strong a victory over Rwanda: Algeria coach Algeria coach is beaming over the big win against Rwanda so early on in the World Cup qualifiers
Algeria national team coach Vahid Halilhodzic expresses his excitement after smashing foes, Rwanda, 4-0 in the 2014 World Cup qualifiers on Saturday and snatching the pole position of Group H with three points. "I am very happy for this victory; we didn't expect more than this, since we are in the opening games," Halilhodzic was quoted as saying in the post-game press conference. "We learnt what the weak points are of the Rwanda squad, so we edged to finish the game with this big result," he added. "We were close to scoring another three to four goals, but bad luck shadowed us," he lamented. They are anticipating the results of the Benin-Mali clash Sunday. Meanwhile, Algeria are set to face Mali on 10 June in the second round of the tournament while Rwanda will play Benin in the same day. "Beating Rwanda will help the team to achieve more in the World Cup qualifiers, especially in the Mali game" Algeria coach stated.
