The 25 year old Ahmed Hashem El-Sayed, the third Egyptian to set himself ablaze on Tuesday, died in hospital later the same day. El-Sayed had set himself on fire in an attempted suicide in Alexandria as a result of unemployment. Earlier Tuesday a man set himself on fire outside parliament in downtown Cairo, copying a similar attempt Monday, also in the same location. El-Sayed is the third Egyptian to copy Tunisia's Abouaziz, who set himself on fire in December triggering riots and the ultimate Tunisian revolution.
