For the second year in a row, Egyptian actor Ahmed Hatem launches Arabeit Al-Kheir (Car of Good), a vehicle that roams the streets of Cairo to distribute hot iftar meals to people-in-need and families throughout the holy month of Ramadan. The initiative is made possible via a collaboration with the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) and Uber. It relies on the donations of individuals, companies, and food providers in order to provide the largest number of Ramadan bags with various types of goods and products. Born in 1987 and a graduate of the Media and Sciences Academy in Cairo, Ahmed Hatem's interest in acting began when he joined the acting workshop led by Mohamed Abdel-Hadi, who recommended him for his debut role in Awqat Faragh. Ever since, Hatem acted in several films and TV series, including Al-Kenz (The Treasure), Al-Haram Al-Rabe'a (The Fourth Pyramid), Qeset Hob (Love Story), Al-Ghasala (The Washing Machine), Vertigo, Ibn Halal (A Good Guy), Fo'k Mostawa Al-Shobohat (Above Suspicion), Hekayty (My Story), and Haret Al-Yahoud (The Jewish Quarter).
