The Culture Ministry applies all precautionary and preventive measures with daily sterilization of the theatres in order to ensure the safety of the public, artists and workers. The Cairo Puppet Theatre Next to the Al-Attaba Metro Station, Tel 02 2591 0954 Sahsah Lama Yangah (When Sahsah Succeed), a child play written by the late Salah Jahin, music composed by the late Mohamed Fawzy, and directed by the late Salah Alsaqqa (Performances run on Thursdays and Fridays, 6.30pm).
Falaki Theatre American University in Cairo, Downtown Campus, 24 Falaki St, Downtown Cairo, Tel 012 88721446 Wa Hona Alqahira (And Here is Cairo) theatrical performance is shown for the first time by the Dangerous Theatre Company, written and directed by Rasha El-Gammal. The show is based on six short and different plays that are slices of life and take place on the land of the capital. El-Gammal discusses sensitive societal issues in an innovative artistic way that aims to break and frustrate all taboos that hinder the human realization of his dreams and aspirations and suppress his freedoms (8, 9, 10 and 11, 8pm).
The Floating Theatre Abdel-Aziz Al-Saoud St, in front of Salaheddin Mosque, Al Manial, Tel 02 2368 4047, 012 8531 1358/ 0100 5233623 Main Theatre Aalet Alfaare (the family of the unlucky guy) play is produced by the Comedy Theatre Company. It casts Mohamed Alsawy, Fatema Alkashef, Nehad Said, Ahmed Shams and many more. Décor by Mohamed Hashem, lighting by Ezz Helmy, music composed by Ahmed Alnasser. It is written by Ahmed Almalwany and directed by Mohamed Metwali (Performances run on Thursdays and Fridays, 8pm). Small Theatre Afrah Alqoba, play produced by the Youth Theatre Company is based on Naguib Mahfouz novel bearing the same name. It casts Mohamed Youssef, Samar Allam, Fatema Adel, Mena Nabil and many more. Décor and lighting by Amr Al-Ashraf, costumes designed by Abeer Badrawi, movement designs by Monadel Antar. It is written and directed by Mohamed Youssef Almansour (Performances run on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays, 8pm).
The International Park Madinet Nasr District The Qarameet Fields and The King of Winter plays are performed by Al-Shams Theatre Company for talents with special abilities and starring Amr Adel, Madonna, Seif, Shaimaa Abu-Bakr. It's written by Mohamed Nassef and directed by Youssef Abu-Zeid (Performances run on Sundays, Thursdays, and Fridays, 8pm).
Metropol (The Children's National) Theatre 6 Halim St, the beginning of 26th July, Attaba, Downtown, Tel 02 2593 3334 Crossing and Triumph play casts Hani Kamal, Mounir Makram, vocal performance by Helmy Fouda, Poetry of Ibrahim Al-Rifai, composed and arranged by Walid Khalaf and directed by Mohamad Al-Khouly. (Performances run on Thursday and Friday, 7pm).
Al-Salam Theatre 101 Qasr Al-Aini St, Tel 02 2795 2484/2794 3016/010 21521501 Qawaaid Al-Ashq Al-Arbaain (The Fourty Rules of Love), a play starring Bahaa Tharwat, Fawziya, Ezzat Zein, Dina Ahmed, singer Amira Abu-Zeid, religious chanter Samir Azmi, together with the Arab Mawlawiya troupe among others, with dramaturgy by Rasha Abdel-Moneim, music composed by Mohamed Hosni, décor Mustafa Hamed, costumes by Maha Abdel-Rahman and directed by Adel Hassan (Performances run daily except Tuesdays, 8pm).
El-Sawy Culturewheel End of 26th of July St, under the 15th of May Bridge, Zamalek, Tel 02 2736 8881/6178/2737 4448 (No entry without a mask and the hall will be open at only 25 percent audience capacity) Wisdom Hall Pianola play is performed by Alrahala Theatre Company, directed by Hossam Ghoneim (Monday 19, 9pm).
Taliaa Theatre Attaba Square, Tel 02 2593 7948 Zaki Tolaimat Hall Recycle, an improvisation show tackles the idea of the possibility of recycling the expired man to restore humanity through a group of sketches about social issues like marriage, education, and sexual harassment. It's directed by Mohamed El-Sagheir with Ahmed Raouf's music, Monadel Antar's choreography and Abeer El-Badrawy's styling (Performances run on Thursdays, Fridays and Sundays, 7pm).
