Ahly have no choice but to win the away game against Vita Club, says coach Mosimane

Ahly coach Pitso Mosimane expressed frustration after the team's 2-2 home draw to DR Congo's Vita Club on Saturday, but still refused to throw in the towel as the team prepares to face the same opponents next week in the 4th round of Group A games of the African Champions League.
"It was a dramatic show which I have never seen before, I can't believe the result and I am frustrated," Mosimane told the post game's press conference.
The African Champions League title holders wasted numerous score chances during the draw with Vita Club at Cairo International Stadium and were eventually undone by a late controversial penalty to settle for a 2-2 draw at home to the Congolese side in a see-saw African Champions League game.
Ahly are now third in Group A ranking with 4 points but they still have three games in hand to salvage their hopes to secure one of the two top spots in the group in order to qualify for the quarterfinals.
Surprise package Simba of Tanzania are on top of Group A with seven points from three matches, three clear of Ahly and Vita Club, whose next duel in Kinshasa later this month could prove decisive.
"We have no choice but to beat Vita Club at Congo. We put ourselves in this difficult situation. I believe in my team as the most important thing is how to finish the group stage." the South African coach said.
"It's not me who comments on referees' decisions. I always refuse to speak about the referee since everyone saw what happened. We didn't drew with Vita Club due to the penalty kick .. we drew because of missing multiple scoring chances," the Ahly coach added.
"I don't lose hopes on my team's players who won the title last season so we have to fly to Vita Club and achieve the victory," Mosimane said.
