Zamalek coach Pacheco rues missed chances in draw with Senegal's Teungueth

Zamalek coach Jaime Pacheco believes the Cairo club were the better side in a 0-0 African Champions League draw away to Senegal's Teungueth on Tuesday, saying they just needed to take their chances.
The White Knights extended their winless start to their Group D campaign to two games, having been held to a second consecutive goalless draw after also failing to break down MC Alger at home in their opening game.
They were largely toothless against Champions League debutants Teungueth, creating a few openings throughout the game.
However, they could have still claimed all three points had it not been for a glaring stoppage-time miss by substitute Emam Ashour, who scuffed a shot against the bar with the goal gaping.
Right-back Hamza Mathlouthi and striker Osama Faisal also went close in Zamalek's two other threats.
"Zamalek were better in the two halves and we had many chances to score, while our opponents didn't have any," Pacheco told reporters after the game.
The Portuguese coach also said Zamalek were hardly affected by a long, delayed flight to Senegal, despite appearing jaded at times.
"We had problems in our flight to Senegal but we still put in lots of efforts in the match," he added.
Zamalek's draw left them third in Group D with two points, on level with MC Alger and two behind leaders Esperance.
Teungueth, who are fourth, bagged their first point after they lost to Tunisia's Esperance in their opening match.
"We have to keep fighting for the quarter-final berth and we will play for a home win over Teungueth," Pacheco said.
