Yield rises at Egypt 9-month T-bill auction
Egypt sells LE2 billion worth of government debt on Sunday, less than the LE3.5 billion it had asked for

The yield on Egyptian treasury bills rose at an auction on Sunday and the central bank sold only LE2 billion instead of the LE3.5 billion worth it had asked for, the Ministry of Finance said on its website.
The average yield on the 9-month bills rose to 15.616 percent from 15.529 percent at the last issue on 17 April.
The central bank sells the bills on behalf of the finance ministry.
