Ahly football director Sayed Abdel-Hafiz has denied reports that the club has concluded a deal with Ismaily right-winger Ahmed Sedik to bring him to the capital when the summer transfer window reopens. "We're not thinking about signing new players nowadays as we have a crucial game in the African Champions League coming up," Abdel-Hafiz was quoted as saying on the club's official website on Monday. Egyptian social media reports claimed Ahly had officially signed Sedik. Ahly are scheduled to play against Malian side Stade Malien on 27, 28 or 29 April in the first leg of theCAF Champions League quarterfinals, with the second leg to be held in Cairo two weeks later. The Red Devils are still discussing the future of their on-loan striker Ahmed Samir Farag. Sources at the club claimed player's deal was likely to be terminated as he had failed to meet expectations.
