Desailly in line to become Ghana coach
Ghana FA reportedly close to signing former France captain Marcel Desailly to coach Black Stars

Former France captain Marcel Desailly has been approached by the Ghana Football Association (GFA) to replace axed coach Goran Stevanovic.
The Africa Sports newspaper reported that talks with the Ghanaian-born Frenchman are underway for him to become the new Black Stars coach.
“There is a lot to discuss and the following days could be interesting. If I have to accept the job, it's only fair it should be on my terms,” Desailly was quoted as saying by Africa Sports.
“For example, I should determine who I'm going to work with, be well briefed about issues like whether Kevin-Prince Boateng and Asamoah Gyan are returning to the squad etc,” he added.
The 43-year-old was shortlisted two years ago when Ghana was in the market for a new coach but he surprisingly pulled out of the race.
Early in March, the Ghana FA showed coach Stevanovic the door after his failure to win the African Cup of Nations in Equatorial Guinea and Gabon, and promised to namehis successor in two weeks.
The Black Stars begin the 2014 FIFA World Cup qualifiers in June against Lesotho at home and Zambia away.
