Factory Space, Hussein El-Memar St., off of Mahmoud Bassiouny Street, Downtown Cairo Listen...Shhh– a play on the struggles of people with 'different abilities' at Nahda Association for Arts and Sciences at 7.30pm After almost two months of workshops, Noon Creative Enterprise's 'You Can' initiative brings together a group of actors with 'different abilities' to the stage. The story was written from real stories about the hardships the actors face in their daily life in Egypt. 15 El-Mahrani Street, El-Fagala, Ramses Film Screening of Army of Shadows at Artellewa Gallery at 8pm This 1969 Italian-French production by Jean-Pierre Melville is about the French resistance during the 1942 German occupation. In front of Bank of Alexandria, Corniche El-Nil, Minya City Hassan Khan and the EX (Netherlands) in Radio Theatre at 10pm Egyptian Electro, new wave shaabi (popular) artist Hassan Khan, along with Dutch punk band the EX present a night of mixed beats for the Downtown Contemporary Arts Festival. 24 Talaat Harb Street, Downtown, Cairo Anachronyby Nermine Hammam in Safar Khan Gallery Hand painted photography exhibition depicting the artists experience in Fayoum with her daughter and her cousin dancer Karima Mansour. She takes inspiration from the nature and elements around her. Small Hall, Cairo Opera House, Zamalek Sunday 1 April Urban Visions Programme of Contemporary Dance in front of Radio Theatre at 2pm Part of theDowntown Contemporary Arts Festivala group of local and international dancers and choreographers present their works. 24 Talaat Harb Street, Downtown, Cairo Opening of The True Story of Mohannad's Death by Ahmed Sabry at Mashrabia Gallery at 7pm In his playful and wide-scoped text and caricature images, Sabry presents this exhibition of visual artwork in this highly entertaining yet informative exhibition. 8 Champollion Street, Downtown, Cairo 5th Finnish-Egyptian Musical Bridge at Cairo Opera House at 8pm Students from the Cairo Conservatoire joined by Finnish musicians, the orchestra will be conducted by Ralf Gothóni, a pianist, conductor and professor from Finland. Programme will include works by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, piano concerto No. in 11 F Major, Sinfonia concertante, and first movement from the Symphony No 29 in A Major.
