Algerian side JSM Bejaia were stunned at home by Ivorian side AF Amadou Diallo 2-1 on Friday in the first leg of the CAF Champions League round 32. Anderson and Vengo hit in a quick-fire succession for the 7-year-old Ivorian rising team to give them a 2-0 lead at the break. The hosts tried to react in the second half but they only managed to get a consolation goal through Ahmed Gasmi in the 75th minute. The defeat leaves JSM Bejiaia with little chances of a comeback in the return leg against a surprising AF Amadou Diallo side that is set to be a new African revelation. ASO Chlef were held to a scoreless draw at home by Congolese side AS Vita club. Although they managed to control the game in terms of possession, they weren't a real threat. If they expect to reach the last 16, they must be more efficient in the away leg in two weeks. (For more sports news and updates, follow Ahram Online sports on Twitter: @AO Sports)
