Smouha's Ghanaian striker frustrated after League's cancellation Smouha's Samuel Affum says the decision to cancel this season's Egyptian Premier League is “very worrying”
Smouha's Ghanaian striker Samuel Affum expressed on Tuesday his frustration at the Egyptian Premier League's cancellation. “I have to deploy a new strategy to keep fit because our season is over due to the decision to cancel the entire thing. It's very worrying because we've been through lot of ups and downs. But I hope for the best,” Affum was quoted as saying by Ghanasoccer. The 23-year-old striker was the team's top scorer with seven goals before the league's cancellation. The Egyptian Football Association decided on Saturday to call off the Premier League in the wake of the Port Said disaster which left more than 70 killed and hundreds injured on the first of February.
