Egypt's interior ministry celebrated its 68th annual National Police Day on Saturday, which coincides with the anniversary of the 25 January 2011 Revolution.
The ministry said the pardon came as part of the ministry's keenness to implement modern penal policy and activate its operational role in the rehabilitation of prisoners to reintegrate them in society.
