Egypt's President Abdel-Fattah El-Sisi returned to Cairo on Friday morning after participating in the 74th session of the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) in New York. Presidential spokesman Bassam Rady posted a number of pictures of President El-Sisi being received at the airport by Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly, the Defence Minister General Mohamed Zaki, the Speaker of the House of Representatives Ali Abdel-Aal, and the Interior Minister Mahmoud Tawfik, alongside other senior officials.
A number of citizens gathered outside the airport to welcome the president upon his return home.
