To mark the South Korea's National Day, ambassador of South Korea to Egypt Yoon Yeocheol and his wife hosted a lavish reception party at their residence in Maadi on 10 October and received ambassadors, public figures and senior state officials. Attending were the ambassadors of Malta, Mexico, the US Chargé d'Affaires, Italy, Hungary, Bulgaria, Indonesia, Poland and Thailand. Also attending was resident coordinator of the UN Country Team, the director of IOM Egypt, the director of the British Council, and PR expert and founder of Soft Production Company for promoting art Mona Zaki. The Korean Cultural Centre in Cairo, in cooperation with the Cairo Opera House, organised a gala concert for the group titled 'Sound of the Autumn' on 9 October at the Opera House's Open- Air Theatre.
