Market Update: Egypt stocks up 2.9 pct by Tuesday close

Egyptian stocks started the week firmly in the green, the benchmark EGX30 rising 2.93 per centto close out Sunday at 4,893 points.
The broader EGX70 climbed an even greater 3.72 per cent.
Turnover reached upwards of LE577 million ($96 million) with 164 shares gaining in value and 12 slipping.
