Winger Hazem Emam will return to the Zamalek squad for Wednesday's clash against Ismaily, but striker Amr Zaki is still doubtful for the match, the Whites' assistant coach Ismail Youssef has said. Both Zaki and Emam have just returned to the Cairo giants' training sessions after boycotting them for more than a month for not receiving their financial dues. "Emam will be in our squad for the Ismaily clash, but Zaki's participation will be determined tomorrow," Youssef was quoted as saying on Al-Ahram's Arabic website. Earlier in December, the duo lodged complaints with the Egyptian Football Association against their clubs, asking for their contracts to be terminated. By the end of 2011, chairman Mamdouh Abbas settled the matter and the players were reinstated, amid fans' anger. The 23-year-old Emam, tried to force a move away from the club, signing a two-and-a-half-season contract with Saudi side Faislay, while Zaki was reportedly in talks with several clubs in the Gulf. "The game with Ismaily will not be easy. We asked our players to forget Saturday's defeat against ENNPI and concentrate only on winning the coming match," added Youssef. Under the helm of manager Hassan Shehata, Zamalek are making a bid for their first Egyptian Premier League title since 2004. They are currently third in the table with 32 points, four behind archrivals and title-holders Ahly. (For more sports news and updates, follow Ahram Online sports on Twitter:@AO_Sports)
