Published in Ahram Online on 17 - 04 - 2019

Egypt will continue to see relatively cool temperatures over the coming two days, with lows of around 13-14 degrees Celsius in the capital Cairo.
Highs in the capital and cities in Nile Delta are predicted at 23 degrees on Wednesday, and will slightly rise by 1-2 degrees through Friday, the Egyptian Metrological Authority (EMA) said on its official website.
Light rain is forecast for cities on the Mediterranean during the day.
The coastal city of Alexandria and other parts of the country's northern part are expected to see highs of 20 and lows of 12-13 on Thursday and Friday.
The popular Red Sea resort cities of Sharm El-Sheikh and Hurghada will be slightly warmer with highs of 26-27 degrees and lows of 19 in the next two days.
Stong winds will lead to the disruption of maritime navigation on the Red Sea and the Gulf of Suez on Thursday, and probably Friday as well, EMA said.
The northern part of Upper Egypt - which includes the governorates of Minya, Fayoum and Beni Suef - will see highs of 26 and 27 degrees on Thursday and Friday and lows of 14.
The southern part of Upper Egypt, where the ancient cities of Luxor and Aswan are located, will see highs of 30 degrees and lows of 17 on both days.
