Ahly, who were seeking their first continental triumph since 2013, were eliminated from the continental tournament after losing 5-1 on aggregate. "Soliman was available in recent trainings, but he was sent to Germany as the technical staff wants to make sure of his readiness for next matches," reads a statement on Ahly's official website. The 34-year-old veteran playmaker Soliman is still doubtful for Thursday's anticipated league match against stiff rivals Pyramids FC. Leaders Ahly will be in a must-win situation on Thursday to continue their campaign towards their 41st league title successfully. The Reds currently lead the league table with 58 points from 25 matches, just one point ahead of arch rivals and second-placed Zamalek.
