JS Saoura manager Nabil Neghiz admitted that his side will have a mountain to climb after being drawn with Egyptian giants Ahly in the African Champions League group stage. The Algerian side were placed in Group D along with Ahly, DR Congo's Vita Club and Simba of Tanzania. Meghiz said his side are aware of the difficult task ahead of them but that they will do their best to book one of the two qualifying tickets to the quarters. "We were drawn in a very tough group," Neghiz told ON Sports radio station on Sunday. "Ahly are the club of the century in Africa, thus our game against them will be very tough. Our fans can't wait to see Ahly in Algeria. It will be a historic event." Neghiz said Saoura are capable of overcoming the other two challengers in the group. "I think Vita Club and Simba are inferior to Ahly and our mission against them will not be difficult," he added. "Our group is very difficult but we will defend our chances until the final match of the group stage." Ahly are eying their first Champions League triumph since winning the last of their record eight titles in 2013.
