Qualifying campaign: Zambia booked a place at the CAN finals after finishing top of Group C with four wins and 13 points after a fierce rivalry with Libya.
History: Zambia have one of the best appearances records in CAN, having featured 14 times in the biennial tournament. Their best outcome came in 1974 and 1994 when they finished as runners-up on both occasions.
Expectations: The Chipolopolo are way past their prime since the golden era of Kalusha Bwalya but they still can manage to survive their group stage. Zambia are embraced for a fierce battle with Senegal and Libya to reach the quarter finals.
